Job summary

TRA powered by Boomering, based in the Philippines, is recruiting an AU Bookkeeper to support an Australian accounting firm and its clients.

You will handle bank reconciliations, AR/AP, BAS/IAS, payroll with STP/PAYG, superannuation, and month-end reporting, while managing multiple clients with accuracy.

This on-site role runs Mon-Fri, 7am–3:30pm PHT, with a salary of PHP 60,000–80,000 plus health insurance and government benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping or practice support within accounting/tax
• Experience working with an Australian accounting firm
• Experience managing multiple clients
• Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping and accounting processes
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent written English for preparing accurate client correspondence and documentation
• Highly organised and detail-oriented
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
• Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to accuracy
• Time- and deadline-oriented
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
• Preparation of BAS and IAS
• Payroll processing, including STP and PAYG
• Superannuation reconciliation
• Month-end functions, including reporting and resolving account discrepancies
• Transaction allocation and bookkeeping
• Year-end STP Finalisation
• SGC statement preparation and lodgement
• TPAR preparation and lodgement
• Fixed asset reconciliation
• GST and BAS reconciliation
• Supporting other bookkeeping and accounting requirements as required
