Job summary

Epiroc is seeking an ATR Specialist in the Philippines to ensure high-quality accounting-to-reporting services across entities in scope. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end tasks while driving process improvements and leveraging digitalization and automation.

The role requires a background in ATR or General Ledger, ERP knowledge, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years working experience with background in ATR or General Ledger.
• System knowledge in ERP is advantaged.
• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, video/telephone conferences, and presentations.
• Ability to do business presentations and regular client communication.
• Great organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of ATR services to entities in scope in line with SLAs and the Epiroc Way.
• Ensure compliance with the Epiroc Business Code of Practice.
• Prepare and post journals and cash applications.
• Support monthly financial statements and disclosures.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open items.
• Establish strong accounting controls for a stable finance process.
• Support internal and external audits with relevant documents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and group/region initiatives.

As an ATR Specialist you will ensure the delivery of quality Accounting to Reporting (AtR) services to the entities in scope in line with agreed Best Possible Process and the Epiroc Way.

Besides performing day to day activities, you will continuously look for improvement opportunities in processes and ways of working, while using digitalization and Robotic Process Automation as an enabler to achieve further efficiencies.

Job Description

• Ensure the delivery of quality ATR services to the entities in scope in line with the Service Level Agreements, the Epiroc Way, and local business requirements.


• Ensure compliance to Epiroc Business Code of Practice


• Perform day to day/monthly activities such as:


• Preparation and posting of journal entries and cash applications.


• Support in the monthly preparation of financial statements and monthly/quarterly/annual disclosure reports to the Group Financial Controller Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation.


• Resolve open or unreconciled items.


• Support in establishing strong accounting controls to ensure a tight and stable finance process.


• Support the customer center in internal and external audit by providing necessary documents and working with internal and external auditors.


• Continuously strive to improve processes and support the implementation of group/region-wide improvement initiatives.


• Participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Triple Certification Systems:


• Health and Safety of all employees, customers, and contractors as your first priority per ISO 45001:2018 and RA 11058


• Reducing our impact upon the Environment with ISO 14001:2015


• Consistency in Quality service delivery using ISO 9001:2015


• Support the Manager in all aspects of business operations.
