Job summary

Epiroc is seeking an ATR Specialist in the Philippines to deliver quality accounting services for the group entities. You will handle journal entries, cash applications, and assist in monthly statements in line with the Epiroc Way.

As part of a global finance team, you will pursue process improvements using digital tools and RPA, while maintaining strong internal controls and supporting audits. A hybrid work arrangement is available within Santa Rosa, PH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years working experience with background in ATR or General Ledger.
• ERP knowledge is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, video/telephone conferences, and presentations.
• Great organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of ATR services to entities in scope in line with SLAs and the Epiroc Way.
• Prepare and post journal entries and cash applications.
• Support monthly financial statements and disclosures; prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in audits and strengthen internal controls.
• Drive continuous improvement using digitalization and RPA where possible.

As an ATR Specialist you will ensure the delivery of quality Accounting to Reporting (AtR) services to the entities in scope in line with agreed Best Possible Process and the Epiroc Way.

Besides performing day to day activities, you will continuously look for improvement opportunities in processes and ways of working, while using digitalization and Robotic Process Automation as an enabler to achieve further efficiencies.

• Ensure the delivery of quality ATR services to the entities in scope in line with the Service Level Agreements, the Epiroc Way, and local business requirements.
• Ensure compliance to Epiroc Business Code of Practice
• Perform day to day/monthly activities such as:
• Preparation and posting of journal entries and cash applications.
• Support in the monthly preparation of financial statements and monthly/quarterly/annual disclosure reports to the Group Financial Controller Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
• Resolve open or unreconciled items.
• Support in establishing strong accounting controls to ensure a tight and stable finance process.
• Support the customer center in internal and external audit by providing necessary documents and working with internal and external auditors.
• Continuously strive to improve processes and support the implementation of group/region-wide improvement initiatives.
• Participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Triple Certification Systems:
• Health and Safety of all employees, customers, and contractors as your first priority per ISO 45001:2018 and RA 11058
• Reducing our impact upon the Environment with ISO 14001:2015
• Consistency in Quality service delivery using ISO 9001:2015
• Support the Manager in all aspects of business operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years working experience with background in ATR or General Ledger
• System knowledge in ERP is advantaged
• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to facilitate meetings, video/telephone conferences, and presentations
• Ability to do business presentations and regular client communication
• Great organizational and time management skills
