Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a driven professional in Manila to support back-end ocean freight services across country, regional, or global operations. You will collaborate with a larger team to improve service delivery and meet SOPs and KPIs.

The role requires 0–3 years in BPO/logistics, a degree (logistics/management a plus), strong English communication, and familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems. It emphasizes customer-centric problem-solving and cross-regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (any); logistics/management degree is a plus.
• 0–3 years of experience in BPO or logistics.
• Air Freight experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Effective English communication, written and verbal.
• Exposure to ERP systems preferred.
• Good logical reasoning and customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Understand station/country documentation requirements and ensure SOP-compliant execution.
• Meet department SLAs and KPIs per delivery guidelines.
• Operate on services by shifts, countries or regions.
• Deliver high service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvements for partners.
• Flag challenges to supervisor and business partner promptly.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information.

Job description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work upon one or more back-end services for the ocean freight service line, supporting countries, regions, or global and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks/target assigned. You will be part of a larger team, sharing best practices & working upon the services with continuous improvement approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• To understand the requirement of the station’s / country’s documentation and ensure jobs are executed as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure department SLAs and all Key Performance Indicators are being met as per the agreed delivery guidelines.
• Operate on the services according to the shifts, countries, or regions aligned.
• Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the business to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve the service to our business partners.
• Flag any challenges in the operations to the immediate supervisor and business partner in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate with the relevant stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the respective service.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor´s degree (any). A degree in logistics, management will be an advantage.
• 0 – 3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain – Preferred
• Air Freight experience will be preferred
• Good knowledge in MS office
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal
