Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding Philippines is hiring for a Backend Services role within the Air freight service line. You will support one or more backend services, ensuring timely and accurate task completion across countries and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (any field).
• 0–3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain preferred.
• Air Freight experience will be preferred.
• Good knowledge in MS Office.
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Exposure to working with ERP platforms preferred.
• Good logical reasoning skills.
• High level of customer centricity.

Responsibilities

• Understand the requirement of the station's/country's documentation and ensure tasks are executed as per SOPs.
• Ensure department SLAs and KPIs are met as per delivery guidelines.
• Operate on the services according to shifts, countries, or regions.
• Deliver high quality service through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve service for business partners.
• Flag challenges in operations to supervisor and business partner promptly.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work upon one or more back-end services for the Air freight service line, supporting countries, regions, or global and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks/target assigned. You will be part of a larger team, sharing best practices & working upon the services with continuous improvement approach.

Key Responsibilities

• To understand the requirement of the station's / country's documentation and ensure jobs are executed as per standard operating procedures.


• Ensure department SLAs and all Key Performance Indicators are being met as per the agreed delivery guidelines.


• Operate on the services according to the shifts, countries, or regions aligned.


• Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the business to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve the service to our business partners.


• Flag any challenges in the operations to the immediate supervisor and business partner in a timely manner.


• Co-ordinate with the relevant stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the respective service.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Bachelor's degree (any). A degree in logistics, management will be an advantage.


• 0 - 3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain - Preferred


• Air Freight experience will be preferred
