Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding Philippines is seeking a logistics/back-end operations professional to support ocean freight services across stations, countries, or regions. You will help ensure timely, accurate task execution and contribute to continuous service improvements.

The role emphasizes documentation, SLA adherence, and collaboration with partners to optimize delivery quality and information flow. Strong English skills and ERP exposure are favored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree (any). A degree in logistics, management will be an advantage.
• 0 – 3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain – Preferred
• Ocean Freight experience will be preferred
• Good knowledge in MS office
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal
• Exposure to working with Enterprise Resource Platforms (ERPs) - Preferred
• Good logical reasoning skills
• High level of customer centricity

Responsibilities

• To understand the requirement of the station’s / country’s documentation and ensure jobs are executed as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure department SLAs and all Key Performance Indicators are being met as per the agreed delivery guidelines.
• Operate on the services according to the shifts, countries, or regions aligned.
• Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the business to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve the service to our business partners.
• Flag any challenges in the operations to the immediate supervisor and business partner in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate with the relevant stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the respective service.

Job description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work upon one or more back-end services for the Ocean freight service line, supporting countries, regions, or global and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks/target assigned. You will be part of a larger team, sharing best practices & working upon the services with continuous improvement approach.

Key Responsibilities:
