Job summary

Deutsche Post in the Philippines is seeking a back-end service professional for Ocean Freight support, working on one or more services with a continuous improvement mindset.

You will help ensure timely and accurate task completion, align with SOPs, and collaborate with teams across regions to deliver reliable logistics support. Strong English communication and ERP exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or management.
• 0–3 years experience in BPO or logistics (preferred).
• Ocean Freight experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Effective written and spoken English communication.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
• Strong logical reasoning skills.
• Strong customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Understand station or country documentation requirements and follow SOPs.
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met according to delivery guidelines.
• Operate services across shifts, countries, or regions.
• Deliver high-quality service through timely, accurate work.

Job description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work upon one or more back-end services for the Ocean freight service line, supporting countries, regions, or global and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks /target assigned. You will be part of a larger team, sharing best practices & working upon the services with continuous improvement approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• To understand the requirement of the station’s / country’s documentation and ensure jobs are executed as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure department SLAs and all Key Performance Indicators are being met as per the agreed delivery guidelines.
• Operate on the services according to the shifts, countries, or regions aligned.
• Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the business to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve the service to our business partners.
• Flag any challenges in the operations to the immediate supervisor and business partner in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate with the relevant stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the respective service.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelo r´s degree (any). A degree in logistics, management will be an advantage.
• 0 – 3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain – Preferred
• Ocean Freight experience will be preferred
• Good knowledge in MS office
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal
• Exposure to working with Enterprise Resource Platforms (ERPs) - Preferred
• Good logical reasoning skills
