Job summary

Deutsche Post Philippines is seeking a Back-End Operations Associate for Ocean Freight to support multiple stations and regions. You will ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks while aligning with SOPs.

You will work with a larger team, share best practices, and continuously improve the services to our business partners, maintaining a high level of customer focus and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, management or related field.
• 0–3 years of job experience in BPO or logistics domain (preferred).
• Ocean Freight experience (preferred).
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Exposure to Enterprise Resource Platforms (ERPs) - preferred.
• Good logical reasoning skills.
• High level of customer centricity.

Responsibilities

• Understand station/country documentation requirements and ensure tasks are executed per SOPs.
• Ensure department SLAs and KPIs are met per delivery guidelines.
• Operate the services according to shifts, countries or regions.
• Deliver high quality service through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify solutions and opportunities to improve service quality.

Job description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work upon one or more back-end services for the Ocean freight service line, supporting countries, regions, or global and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks/target assigned. You will be part of a larger team, sharing best practices & working upon the services with continuous improvement approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• To understand the requirement of the station’s / country’s documentation and ensure jobs are executed as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure department SLAs and all Key Performance Indicators are being met as per the agreed delivery guidelines.
• Operate on the services according to the shifts, countries, or regions aligned.
• Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the business to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve the service to our business partners.
• Flag any challenges in the operations to the immediate supervisor and business partner in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate with the relevant stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the respective service.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelo'r's degree (any). A degree in logistics, management will be an advantage.
• 0 – 3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain–Preferred
• Ocean Freight experience will be preferred
• Good knowledge in MS office
