Job summary

THI Logistics Philippines Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end air and sea shipments, coordinate with airlines, carriers, and freight forwarders, and ensure compliant, timely delivery.

You will handle documentation, communicate shipment status to clients, and support warehouse and delivery teams to optimize cargo handling. 2–4 years of freight forwarding experience is preferred, with strong Incoterms knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight procedures, Incoterms, and customs clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end operations for air and sea import/export shipments.
• Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
• Monitor cargo movement and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and process shipping documents (bill of lading, airway bill, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and international shipping standards.
• File customs declarations and liaise with brokers for clearance.
• Communicate with clients regarding shipment status, documentation requirements, and problem resolution.
• Provide accurate quotations and advise customers on best transport solutions.
• Coordinate with warehouse, trucking, and delivery teams for smooth cargo handling.
• Track shipments and update internal systems with real-time status.
