SCG Law Offices is seeking an Associate Lawyer specialized in overseas recruitment and employment to join our team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate has passed the Philippine bar and will manage labor matters, both international and domestic, with experience in dispute resolution at a reputable firm or in-house legal department.
Responsibilities include overseeing overseas recruitment, labor case handling, dispute resolution, legal research, and client management.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Lawyer with specialty in overseas recruitment and employment to join our team. The ideal candidate should have passed the Philippine bar examination and possess prior experience in handling labor cases--both international and domestic--as well as dispute resolution practices at a reputable law firm or an in-house legal department.
Overseas Recruitment & Employment: Manage and oversee legal aspects of overseas recruitment and employment, ensuring compliance with Philippine and international labor laws as per approved employment contract and recruitment agreements.
Labor Case Management: Handle labor cases with expertise, covering both domestic and international jurisdictions.
Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve disputes efficiently and professionally.
Legal Research & Analysis: Prepare and draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and contracts.
Client Management: Maintain strong relationship with clients, providing them with timely updates and sound legal advice.
Team Supervision: Manage and supervise subordinate paralegal staff, ensuring their tasks are complete efficiently and accurately.
Independent Work: Work independently to meet deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Attention to Detail: Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of legal work.
Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills both in persuasive English and Filipino.
Education: Must have passed the Philippine bar examination.
Experience: Prior experience in handling labor cases (both overseas and domestic) with focus on overseas recruitment and employment, as well as dispute resolution practices at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
