Job summary
Resolver is a social media safety and crisis monitoring firm. The Associate Technical Operations Engineer will support the stability, availability, and performance of our SaaS applications hosted on Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure, working with senior engineers to ensure operational excellence.
You will monitor cloud environments, respond to alerts, assist in incident management, and contribute to runbooks, SOPs, and postmortem documentation for P1/P2 incidents.
Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alert management.
- Experience with incident management processes and post-incident reviews.
- Exposure to ITIL-based environments; willingness to work 24/7 shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide third-line support for infrastructure and applications within the SRE team.
- Monitor cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for high availability.
- Respond to alerts and follow runbooks for resolution.
- Contribute to RCA and postmortems for P1/P2 incidents.
- Maintain alert thresholds and update SOPs/runbooks.
- Support BAU activities like index snapshots, security alert reviews, and incident triage.
- Collaborate with engineering to uphold SLOs.
- Adhere to ITIL practices and assist in problem management.
