Job summary

Convey is seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability, security, and performance of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot production issues, manage cloud infrastructure, and support critical deployments across AWS and GCP.

Role requires strong problem-solving, security awareness, and collaboration across teams. This is a US-based role with comprehensive benefits and a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS system and network administration experience.
• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) experience.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting production systems.
• Knowledge of cloud security, access controls, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own complex production incidents from investigation through resolution.
• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
• Execute staging and production deployments, including high-impact releases.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Implement security mitigations and support security audits.
• Develop operational runbooks, docs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Mentor junior team members and support incident response best practices.
• Participate in on-call or escalation rotation as needed.
