About the role
The Assistant Operations Manager supports the Operations Manager in overseeing the overall operations of Cindys Bakery and Restaurant branches. The position ensures efficient store operations, excellent customer service, proper implementation of company standards, and achievement of sales and operational targets.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of assigned stores.
Monitor store performance, sales, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Ensure proper implementation and compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Conduct regular store visits and monitor the overall condition, cleanliness, and readiness of branches.
Assist Store Managers in achieving sales targets and improving store profitability.
Monitor inventory, product availability, wastage, and cost-control measures.
Ensure consistent implementation of food quality, service, sanitation, and safety standards.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to Store Managers and store personnel.
Coordinate with the Human Resources Department regarding staffing, employee concerns, training, and manpower requirements.
Address operational concerns and assist in developing appropriate corrective actions.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in operations, retail, food service, restaurant, or bakery operations.
Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
Experience in managing multiple stores or teams is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of store operations, customer service, inventory management, and cost control.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic reporting.
Willing to travel and conduct regular store visits.
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
