Job summary

Cindys Bakery and Restaurant is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily bakery and restaurant store operations, ensuring customer service excellence and adherence to company standards.

The role involves monitoring performance, coordinating staffing, managing inventory, and driving sales across branches with a focus on efficiency and quality. Flexible hours including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, retail, food service, restaurant, or bakery operations.
• Supervisory or managerial experience preferred; able to manage multiple stores or teams.
• Strong knowledge of store operations, customer service, inventory management, and cost control.
• Willing to travel and work weekends/holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of assigned stores.
• Monitor store performance, sales, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper implementation and compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Conduct regular store visits and monitor the overall condition, cleanliness, and readiness of branches.
• Assist Store Managers in achieving sales targets and improving store profitability.
• Monitor inventory, product availability, wastage, and cost-control measures.
• Ensure consistent implementation of food quality, service, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to Store Managers and store personnel.
• Coordinate with the Human Resources Department regarding staffing, employee concerns, training, and manpower requirements.
• Address operational concerns and assist in developing appropriate corrective actions.
