Job summary

W3villa Technologies Pvt. Ltd. seeks an Assistant Manager – Procurement with hands-on experience in Inverters, EV Chargers, Power Electronics or related electrical products to lead sourcing and supplier negotiations.

You will drive end-to-end procurement, establish OEM partnerships, manage BOM and RFQ processes, and optimize cost and supply continuity across EV and inverter components.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in Inverter / EV Charger / Power Electronics / Electrical & Electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components and their applications.
• Experience in vendor development, sourcing and commercial negotiations.
• Good understanding of BOM, RFQ, PO, lead time, MOQ and supplier evaluation.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP procurement processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical, electronic and mechanical components for Inverter and EV Charger products.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable OEMs, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Handle procurement of components such as PCB/PCBA, IGBT/MOSFET, capacitors, connectors, relays, cables, SMPS, enclosures, cooling systems and other electrical components.
• Source components for EV AC/DC Chargers, Inverters, Power Conversion Systems and related products.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, lead time, quality and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Develop alternate sources to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
• Prepare and release RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Quality, Stores, Finance and Planning teams for material requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and material availability.
• Resolve issues related to quality, delayed deliveries, shortages and commercial discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement MIS, vendor database and cost records.
• Support cost reduction, localization and value-engineering initiatives.
• Ensure procurement is aligned with approved specifications, quality standards and business requirements.
