Job summary

Orange circle private limited in Gurgaon, India, is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer to develop high-quality AC and DC electrical systems for renewable energy projects.

You will oversee design execution, ensure grid integration with codes and standards, coordinate with project managers, procurement and construction teams, stay updated on inverter and energy storage trends, and prepare detailed design documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in Solar Energy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and development of AC and DC electrical systems for solar power plants.
• Ensure seamless integration with grid infrastructure and compliance with grid codes and standards.
• Supervise multiple projects to meet deadlines and cost targets.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement and construction teams.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and quality control processes.
• Address technical challenges in design and commissioning.
• Stay current with latest AC/DC solar technology and energy storage trends.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation including diagrams and layouts.

In this role, you'll:

• electrical engineers, ensuring they design high-quality AC/DC electrical systems for renewable energy projects.

Oversee the design and development of AC and DC electrical systems for solar power plants, including inverters, transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays, and cable layouts.

• Ensure seamless integration of renewable power systems with grid infrastructure, including ensuring compliance with grid codes and standards.
• Supervise the design and development processes for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and the design is cost-effective.
• Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and construction teams to ensure the efficient execution of projects.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards, industry best practices, and quality control processes.
• Address technical challenges in the design phase and throughout the project lifecycle. Provide solutions for electrical issues that arise during installation and commissioning.
• Stay current with the latest technology trends in AC/DC systems for solar energy, including new inverters, batteries, and energy storage solutions.
• Work with suppliers to identify and select appropriate electrical components, including inverters, protection devices, and electrical wiring, for the solar projects.
• Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including electrical diagrams, system layouts, and test reports.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
