About the role
The Procurement & Warehouse Officer is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, tools, and supplies while overseeing warehouse operations to ensure proper receiving, storage, inventory control, issuance, documentation, and timely availability of materials for solar PV and construction projects.
Key responsibilities
Process and monitor Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and procurement requests
Source and evaluate qualified suppliers, vendors, and service providers
Request and compare quotations based on price, quality, specifications, lead time, and payment terms
Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favorable terms
Procure solar PV components, electrical and civil materials, construction supplies, tools, PPE, equipment, and spare parts
Coordinate with Engineering and Project Teams to verify material specifications and requirements
Monitor supplier commitments and ensure on-time delivery
Oversee daily warehouse operations for project materials, equipment, tools, and supplies
Ensure proper receiving, inspection, tagging, storage, issuance, and recording of materials
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliation
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
At least 3–5 years of combined procurement and warehouse experience, preferably in solar, construction, renewable energy, or EPC projects
Experience handling construction materials, solar PV components, electrical/civil materials, tools, equipment, and project supplies
Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, warehouse operations, and supplier management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory/procurement systems
Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
Good knowledge of inventory documentation and reconciliation
Willing to travel or coordinate with project sites as required
