Job summary

Grab in the Philippines is seeking a data-driven professional to join the Marketplace team balancing GrabCar and GrabTaxi, steering supply and demand through experiments and insights from drivers and passengers to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.

You will run supply/demand experiments, conduct on-ground visits to gather feedback, collaborate with product teams to launch features, and perform quantitative and financial analysis to evaluate proposals and track performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Management, Industrial/Management Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, data analytics, business strategy, or operations.
• Good business acumen and curiosity about data.
• Quick learning agility and a strong sense of ownership.
• Problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and work with multidisciplinary teams to propose solutions.
• Expertise in creating business cases and models for special projects aimed at business growth.
• Skills in financial forecasting, budgeting, and pricing cause-and-effect simulation.

Responsibilities

• Run supply and demand experiments to influence customer behavior for an optimal marketplace balance.
• Conduct on-ground visits to understand driver and passenger experiences and address pain points.
• Collaborate with product teams to launch and localize new product features.
• Perform data analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and financial modeling to assess business initiatives.
• Track business performance, identify key issues and devise strategies to address them.
