Job summary

SM Hypermarket in the Philippines is seeking a project-focused IT professional to lead the design, deployment, and management of a scalable, secure Omni Channel infrastructure on Huawei Cloud. You will coordinate with IT Shared Services and external vendors to ensure high system availability and robust business continuity during disruptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of IT project management experience.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Huawei Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP); Huawei Cloud experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

• Lead the design, deployment, and management of a scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure for the Omni Channel platform on Huawei Cloud




• Coordinate with IT Shared Services (ITSS) and external vendors to ensure high system availability, operational readiness, and effective business continuity during system disruptions or security incidents




• Ensure all deployments align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and compliance requirements in collaboration with ITSS and Dmall teams




• Serve as the primary coordinator with Huawei for cloud hosting support and technical requirements




• Handle special projects and initiatives related to Omni Channel development and optimization

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field




• At least 3 years of experience in IT project management, with a minimum of 1 year handling cloud-based projects




• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Huawei Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP); Huawei Cloud experience is highly preferred




• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall




• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills

Preferred:

• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Huawei Certified ICT Associate/Professional, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)




• Experience in the retail industry or similar business environment




• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and ITIL principles
