EFCO Philippines, Ltd. is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with Philippine reporting and tax laws, and drive internal controls across the organization.
The ideal candidate will hold a CPA, possess 6–8 years of experience in finance with 2–3 years in supervisory roles, and demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. This role focuses on strategic planning, budgeting, and collaboration with auditors and banks.
Overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine reporting, tax laws, and internal control policies.
Supervise the preparation of financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Support treasury functions including cash flow monitoring, funds management, and banking relationships.
Ensure proper administration and reconciliation of all accounts, including intercompany transactions, accounts receivable/payable, and balance sheet schedules.
Oversee tax management, VAT compliance, and statutory reporting, coordinating with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
Participate in strategic financial planning, cost control initiatives, and business improvement projects to support company objectives.
Assist in developing and updating finance policies and procedures in line with company standards and local regulations.
Handle ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and projects as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
6–8 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
Good knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR rules, and financial reporting standards.
Audit or multinational company experience is preferred.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Good communication and people skills with high integrity and professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP / Great Plains is preferred.
Able to work under pressure, make sound decisions, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
