Job summary

MMC LIFTS INCORPORATED is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to lead the department and ensure accurate financial reporting and governance. You will supervise the accounting team, manage AR/AP, budgeting, and cash flow, and drive ERP enhancements.

The role requires strong knowledge of Philippine accounting, tax rules, and internal controls, with at least 5 years in finance and 2 years in supervision. CPA is an advantage, and integrity is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years Finance & Accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting, taxation, financial reporting, AR/AP, budgeting, and cash flow.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP system skills.
• Experience in construction, engineering, elevator, trading, or service industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor the Finance & Accounting department operations and supervise the accounting team.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Oversee AR, AP, billing, collections, cash flow, and working capital.
• Monitor project costing, budget vs. actual, and project profitability.
• Ensure timely BIR, tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Analyze financial performance and provide management recommendations.
• Lead ERP/accounting system enhancements.
• Develop and monitor Finance KPIs.
• Prepare documents for permits and regulatory filings.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

• To plan and monitor the department of Human Resources, Office Administration and FAD to ensure smooth operations.

• Manage daily Finance & Accounting operations and supervise the accounting team.

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.

• Manage AR, AP, billing, collection, cash flow, and working capital.

• Monitor project costing, budget vs. actual, and project profitability.

• Ensure timely BIR, tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance.

• To deal LOA with BIR.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other stakeholders.

• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures.

• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to Management.

• Lead process improvements and ERP/accounting system enhancement.

• Develop and monitor Finance & Accounting KPIs.

• To prepare documents and apply for various permits such as business permit, building PTI & PTO, and etc.

• Performs other tasks as required by the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.

• CPA is an advantage.

• Good experience in dealing with LOA

• Minimum 5 years Finance & Accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting, taxation, financial reporting, AR/AP, budgeting, and cash flow.
