Job summary

JPMorganChase in the Philippines seeks an Asset Analyst to process income events across markets and oversee related claims and reconciliations to ensure accurate cash and position outcomes.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and external providers to investigate breaks, drive timely resolution, and contribute to cross-functional process improvements and documentation to strengthen controls and resilience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in asset servicing, income processing, corporate actions or related markets operations
• Experience processing time-sensitive operational events with high accuracy and control
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex breaks using root-cause approaches
• Proven collaboration with internal teams and external counterparties (clients, custodians, agents)
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik) and/or SQL/SAS/Python
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for escalation and updates
• Excellent organization to manage concurrent priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and continuous-improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Process pay-date income events (dividends, coupons, redemptions) and complete pre-event reconciliations
• Manage payable and receivable claims with internal and external parties
• Reconcile cash, position, wash, suspense, and control account breaks
• Investigate exceptions and root causes, documenting findings
• Serve as a point of contact for escalations from stakeholders and clients
• Provide SME guidance for processes owned and triage issues
• Identify gaps and support remediation to strengthen controls
• Support process re-engineering and automation initiatives
• Maintain up-to-date procedures and cross-training for coverage and resilience
