Job summary

PICKUP COFFEE is seeking an Asset Service Technician with hands-on HVAC/R experience to maintain and repair equipment across our stores and facilities. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot various refrigeration systems, and ensure safety and proper documentation of service reports.

The role requires 2+ years in HVAC/R or related maintenance, familiarity with HVAC/R tools, and willingness to travel to multiple PICKUP COFFEE locations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; RAC/HVAC training is an advantage.
• 2+ years in air-conditioning, refrigeration, HVAC/R, or equipment maintenance.
• TESDA RAC NC II or related certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and preventive maintenance.
• Familiar with HVAC/R tools such as gauges, meters, and vacuum pumps.
• Good troubleshooting and problem solving; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair split-type, window-type, package-type, and commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose issues involving compressors, motors, fans, coils, thermostats, controls, and electrical components.
• Perform refrigerant checking, charging, recovery, and leak detection.
• Conduct equipment cleaning, inspection, testing, and performance checks.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate service reports and equipment maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering & Maintenance, Procurement, and service providers as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use tools, PPE, and service equipment.
• Travel to different PICKUP COFFEE locations as required.

• Familiar with HVAC/R tools such as manifold gauges, multimeters, clamp meters, and vacuum pumps.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to travel and work flexible hours when required.

• Valid driver's license is an advantage.
