Job summary

De Los Santos Medical Center in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Officer focused on fixed assets and financial reporting. You will ensure proper recognition of asset transactions, maintain the asset database, and support monthly inventories.

The ideal candidate holds BS-Accountancy (CPA preferred), has experience in similar roles, and can work accurately and independently with strong Excel and reporting skills.

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounting Recognition and Management: Ensures that all transactions related to fixed assets are recorded in the accounting books correctly.
• Database Custodianship: Maintain the database of property plant and equipment.
• Other Task related to administrative support: Assist their immediate superior with other related reports to inventory and fixed assets and oversees the monthly inventory audit and ensures that all departments are audited based on the plotted schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of BS-Accountancy, preferably CPA
• Relevant experience in a similar role/ function.
• Has the ability to work accurately and independently and an eye for detail along with good analytical & reporting skills
• Must be proficient in written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks, General Ledger, advanced knowledge of MS Excel and various financial application programs.
