Job summary

Vikings Group of Companies invites applications for a Chef de Partie Asian at NIU, Nuvali in Laguna. You will cook a variety of Asian dishes to established standards, manage your station, and ensure mise en place and cleanliness.

Role requires strong knowledge of Asian cuisines, a professional cookery qualification, and the ability to work under pressure. You will mentor junior staff, support menu development, and uphold strict food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in an Asian kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of Asian cuisines, cooking techniques and ingredient profiles.
• Certification in Professional Cookery or related culinary qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to established recipes, plating standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Manage and oversee your assigned cooking station with responsibility for mise en place, food preparation, and station cleanliness.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
• Monitor food quality and consistency, ensuring every dish meets Vikings Group standards before service.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
• Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for Asian culinary offerings.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on station procedures and culinary techniques.
• Manage inventory for your station and report on stock levels to the Head Chef.
• Adapt quickly to service demands and communicate effectively with the broader kitchen team.
