Prepare and cook Western cuisine dishes according to established recipes, techniques, and quality standards
Manage your assigned station and ensure all mise en place is completed efficiently at the start of each service
Maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols in accordance with health and sanitation regulations
Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency across all plates served
Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to support smooth service operations during peak times
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff members as required
Maintain accurate inventory records for your station and report stock levels to the Head Chef
Suggest menu improvements and innovative Western dishes based on seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
Ensure efficient use of kitchen equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Follow standardized cooking times and plating presentations to guarantee guest satisfaction
Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or equivalent position in a professional Western cuisine kitchen
Strong knowledge of Western cooking techniques, classical and contemporary methods
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation standards
Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency in food quality
Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items safely
Flexibility with shift patterns, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekend work
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous
Experience in high-volume establishments or fine dining environments is preferred
