Job summary

Concentrix Philippines seeks an experienced Associate Sec Asia Settlements to join the Banking & Financial Services team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The role supports settlement operations across Asia, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of securities settlement processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in equities/ fixed income or securities settlement, clearing, or related banking operations
• Strong understanding of settlement processes, T+2 settlement cycles, and settlement risk management
• Knowledge of banking and financial services regulations, particularly those applicable in Asia
• Proficiency in using settlement systems and financial software platforms
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Preferred: Experience with Asia-Pacific settlements or exposure to multiple settlement markets
• Preferred: Knowledge of SWIFT standards and messaging protocols
• Preferred: Relevant banking or financial services certification

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile securities settlements in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements
• Monitor settlement status and investigate discrepancies or failed transactions to ensure timely resolution
• Prepare comprehensive settlement reports and provide detailed analysis to stakeholders and clients
• Communicate with trading, operations, and client teams to facilitate smooth settlement execution
• Maintain accurate records of all settlement transactions and ensure proper documentation
• Support the implementation and maintenance of settlement systems and procedures
• Assist in troubleshooting settlement issues and escalate complex matters to senior team members
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, settlement rules, and internal policies
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
• Provide support during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end settlement cycles
