3M is seeking a highly experienced Asia Retail Analytics Manager to lead data-driven decision making for the Consumer Business across Asia, including Japan. The role reports to the APAC Retail Analytics Lead and can be based in multiple APAC offices, with strong Japanese language preference.

You will own and advance analytics across Sales/POS, Syn data, and syndicated data; drive insights, build executive-ready storytelling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales,

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools including Power BI.
• 10+ years of business analyst experience (client-side).
• Minimum 5+ years of Japan experience or servicing companies operating in Japan.
• Experience with syndicated data (NielsenIQ RMS/Homescan, Kantar Worldpanel, IRI/Circana, Intage).
• FMCG/CPG industry experience mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Asia & Japan retail analytics and reporting of internal sales and syndicated data.
• Own Sales/POS analytics and data reporting with regular Power BI updates.
• Lead ad-hoc analytics and analytics training across Japan and Asia.
• Manage external data providers, contracts, renewals, and budgets.
• Support JBPs, range reviews, assortment optimization, and marketing mix analysis.
