Job summary

AIA Philippines is seeking a seasoned Lead/Administrator for AS/400 OS management. You will ensure system availability, coordinate with security teams, and drive improvements in performance and reliability across our AS/400 environments.

The role requires deep AS/400 knowledge, CL programming, RPG, and DB2 proficiency, with experience aligning IT services to business needs. The team operates within a dynamic, enterprise-scale environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline is required.
IBM Certified System Administrator – AS/400 is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with AS/400 OS management and related tooling is essential.

Responsibilities

AS/400 OS management: deploy, configure, and maintain AS/400 OS across the organization.
Incident & problem management: address AS/400 related issues and perform root cause analysis.
Patch & update management: deploy patches and coordinate security updates.
Performance monitoring: track AS/400 performance and optimize reliability.
Vendor & stakeholder management: work with vendors and internal teams to meet SLAs and implement tools.
