Job summary

East West Banking Corporation is seeking an Area Sales Director to lead and manage sales initiatives across a defined market, region, or national scope. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, drive client acquisition, and support the Branch Banking team to expand the bank's customer base.

The role requires a proven track record in banking sales leadership and strong communication and coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the banking industry, ideally Branch Banking, with a strong track record as a Branch Manager or in a sales leadership role.
• Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques and best practices, adaptable to different markets.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets, including identifying new business opportunities and analyzing market trends.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing support and training to the sales team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and monitor sales performance.
• Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring daily activities meet targets.
• Coach, mentor, and train sales team members, including hiring and onboarding new personnel.
