Delicatesse Food Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an Area Production Supervisor to oversee the production line, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. You will monitor conformance to specifications, manage machine setup, and align schedules with PPIC to optimize resources.
The role requires a BS in Food Technology or Industrial Engineering with at least 3 years in food manufacturing or supervisory experience; fresh graduates may apply.
Oversee production line, ensure the products are produced efficiently and with quality, timeliness of delivery, and other customer commitments are met.
Monitor and inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
Oversee the set-up and adjustment of machines.
Review production schedules provided by PPIC to ensure allocation of resources (manpower/manning, material resources, availability of equipment).
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Analyze and resolve work-related problems; assist personnel under his/her direct supervision in solving problems encountered in production.
Maintain safe and clean work environment to ensure compliance to established SOP's, policies, and other requirements.
Monitor steps of the process, set processing variables, observe control points, and ensure equipment and process parameters are in place.
Perform hourly monitoring of output using established monitoring from per line; ensure hourly output and all relevant quality parameters are achieved.
Monitor scrap level, keeping it as low as possible.
Ensure that food safety and quality guidelines are consistently followed/implemented.
Prepare production for the next shift.
Assists in the preparation of the departmental budget and regularly monitor expenditures.
Keep work area clean and orderly by observing cGMP and strictly following safety policies, company rules, and regulations.
Perform related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Implement company policies and employee health and safety regulations.
Initiate or suggest plans that can motivate subordinates to achieve work goals.
Educate and direct personnel in the use of all equipment, resources and QC tools (for continual improvement).
Interfaces with other Departments and internal Trainer in matters related to training of new and existing personnel.
Evaluate work performance of personnel under his/her direct supervision.
Coach, counsel and discipline personnel.
Graduate of BS Food Technology, Industrial Engineering or allied course.
A bachelor's degree is the minimum educational requirement for this position.
Preferred to have at least 3 years industry experience in food or related manufacturing industry and with experience in Supervisory role, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
