Job summary

Ditucalan Merchandising OPC is seeking an Area Manager for Greenwood South to oversee operations, sales performance, inventory, and team management across assigned branches. You will ensure targets are met, policies followed, and customer service remains excellent.

This role requires 3–5 years in retail or branch management, a Bachelor's in a business-related field, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets. Frequent branch visits and travel within the South area are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in retail, sales, operations, or branch management.
• Experience managing multiple branches or locations preferred.
• Experience in building materials or home improvement is an advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and team leadership.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets and other business systems.
• Willing to travel frequently within the South area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned Greenwood South branches and ensure proper staffing and policy compliance.
• Conduct branch visits and inspections, address concerns, and ensure timely resolutions.
• Drive sales performance and achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Analyze sales data, identify improvement opportunities, and create action plans.
• Support branch teams in customer acquisition, follow-ups and closing sales.
• Supervise Branch Managers and staff; monitor attendance, productivity and performance.
• Provide coaching, performance reviews, and identify training needs.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and handle receiving, storage, and transfers.
• Ensure proper handling and remittance of branch collections and reporting.
• Submit area performance reports covering sales, inventory, manpower, attendance, and concerns.

About the role

The Area Manager - Greenwood South is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, sales performance, branch compliance, inventory, and team management of assigned Greenwood South branches. The position ensures that all branches achieve their targets, follow company policies and standards and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining efficient day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all assigned Greenwood South branches and ensure branches are properly staffed, organized and operating according to DMC/Greenwood standards.

• Conduct regular branch visits and operational inspections, monitor branch concerns and ensure timely resolution.

• Monitor and drive sales performance of assigned branches and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement, develop action plans for branches with below-target performance.

• Support branch teams in customer acquisition, follow-ups and closing sales.

• Supervise and provide direction to Branch Managers and branch personnel, monitor employee attendance, productivity, discipline and performance.

• Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews and identify training and development needs of branch employees.

• Monitor inventory accuracy and availability across assigned branches, ensure proper receiving, storage, transfer and release of products.

• Ensure proper handling, reporting and remittance of branch collections and monitor completeness and accuracy of branch reports and documents.

• Submit regular area performance reports covering sales, inventory, manpower, attendance, and branch concerns.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Operations or a related field.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, sales, operations, or branch management.

• Preferably with experience managing multiple branches or locations.

• Experience in building materials, home improvement, construction products or similar industries is an advantage.

• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and managing teams.

• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

• Excellent sales and business development skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets and other business systems.
