Job summary

SquareOne Builders is seeking an Architect to oversee the technical aspects of construction and fit-out projects in Metro Manila. You will review and manage working drawings, BOM/BOQ, material specifications, and project estimates while guiding a team of Site Architects.

You will coordinate closely with Project Management, Construction, Estimating, and Procurement to ensure that technical requirements align with site progress and schedules, delivering projects that meet objectives and quality

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical discrepancies and project issues.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Architect will oversee the technical aspects of construction and fit-out projects, including the review and management of working drawings, BOM/BOQ, material specifications, and project estimates.

The role will lead and provide technical guidance to a team of Site Architects while coordinating closely with Project Management, Construction, Estimating, Procurement, and other departments to ensure technical requirements are aligned with site progress, project schedules, and overall project objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed or Non-Licensed Architect may apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience, excluding the 2-year architectural apprenticeship period.
• Experience in construction, fit-out, renovation, or design-and-build projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural working drawings and construction documentation.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing BOM, BOQ, material take-offs, and project estimates.
• Knowledgeable in construction materials, specifications, and methods.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in relevant architectural and drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical discrepancies and potential project issues.
• Willing to conduct site visits and project coordination as required.
