Job summary

2GO Group, Inc. is seeking a Payment Application Specialist in Pasay to accurately apply customer payments to invoices and maintain AR balances. You will validate remittance details, post payments across channels, and resolve unapplied cash while coordinating with Collections, Treasury, and Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years in accounts receivable, payment or cash application, or reconciliation.
• Experience in logistics or shared services is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making within controls.
• Proficiency with ERP/AR platforms and Excel lookups.

Responsibilities

• Validate incoming payment information against accounts, invoices and balances.
• Post and allocate payments from bank transfers, deposits, checks, and other channels.
• Apply payments to correct entities, customers, and invoices; prevent duplicates.
• Investigate unidentified receipts, unapplied cash, short payments, and overpayments.
• Coordinate with Collections, Treasury, Accounting, Sales, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Maintain payment application logs and support audits and reconciliations.
