2GO Group is seeking a Cash Application Specialist to ensure timely posting of customer payments by gathering remittance details and applying cash receipts. You’ll balance postings with bank activity daily and collaborate with collections to resolve payment exceptions.

You’ll maintain organized records for audits, support short pays or deductions, and provide precise documentation to keep customer accounts accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and cash applications.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to the team.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
• Superb written and verbal communications skills.

Responsabilités

• Gather remittance information and post cash to the correct account by invoice.
• Receive and apply cash from bank accounts and wires/ACH daily.
• Create short pays and deductions as directed by remittance advice.
• Daily balance cash posted versus cash receipts from the bank.
• Maintain cash receipts records for audits and research.
• Assist with audits by providing supporting records.
• Respond and collaborate with collections on payments and exceptions.
