Job summary

Vestas Philippines seeks an experienced AR professional to act as SME for AR Billing, ensuring timely invoicing, resolving discrepancies, and supporting SOX compliance within SAP GRC. You will work closely with Regional Finance and Treasury to keep billing processes efficient and compliant.

In this role, you will monitor KPIs, support month-end close, and drive continuous improvements in AR operations, collaborating with SSC teams across the region to deliver high-quality financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related business.
• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable experience with Global AR Billing processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (FI/AR) and knowledge of SAP GRC.
• Demonstrated methodical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and holidays as required.
• Familiar with SAP S4 ERP.
• Nice to have white belt in process improvement methodologies.

Job description

As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the team is primarily responsible in providing standardized, rule-based services to the region. This refers to the end-to-end processes of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Travel & Expenses. Works closely with Regional Finance, Treasury and other SSC functional areas to ensure issues and concerns are addressed positively and in accordance within prescribed deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first-level escalation point for AR Billing-related issues and operational concerns.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and complete billing and invoice distribution in line with contractual terms, local regulations, and global policies.
• Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies, including pricing issues, master data errors, and system-related failures.
• Oversee and consolidate non-standard or non-migrated AR billing processes.
• Work with the relevant stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Identify recurring issues and perform root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Support or lead AR projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Review and ensure timely submission of SOX documentation in SAP GRC and maintain high compliance standards.
• Investigate control gaps and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide audit support (internal and external), including documentation and walkthroughs.
• Perform analytical reviews and reporting to ensure KPI targets are reached.
• Consolidate monthly operational decks.
• Ensure adherence to AR task lists, SLAs, and internal controls framework.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
• Support month-end closing activities and resolve critical business issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, or any related business course.
• Minimum 4 years of Accounts Receivable experience, with extensive experience with Global AR Billing processes.
• Direct experience in SAP S/4HANA (FI/AR); knowledge of SAP GRC.
• Demonstrated methodical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and holidays, as required
• Familiar with SAP S4 ERP
• Preferably but not required white belt trained or with knowledge in process improvement methodologies
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good in MS Office applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Available and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as maybe assigned.
• With a collaborative approach and attitude. Can blend well to different kind of personalities.
