Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the Microsoft Power BI platform and Microsoft Fabric environment.

• Monitor platform performance, capacity utilization, and overall environment health.
• Troubleshoot Power BI service disruptions, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer specializing in Microsoft Power BI Administration and Microsoft Fabric to manage, optimize, and support enterprise Business Intelligence platforms. This role is focused primarily on Power BI platform administration, backend environment management, optimization, migration, and application support, rather than Power BI report development alone. The successful candidate will work independently, collaborate with cross-functional technology teams, troubleshoot complex platform issues, and contribute to platform upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Knowledge of automation/deployment tools such as Python, Ansible, and/or Terraform.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives or critical incident resolution.
