Asticom Technology Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Senior Application Support Engineer specializing in Microsoft Power BI Administration and Microsoft Fabric to manage, optimize, and support enterprise BI platforms.

The role emphasizes backend environment management, migrations, performance tuning, and platform upgrades, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading critical incidents to production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Power BI Administration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric administration.
• Strong knowledge of workspace management, gateways, licensing, dashboards.
• Experience with code migration and automated deployment across environments.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible or Terraform for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the Microsoft Power BI platform and Microsoft Fabric environment.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, gateways, licenses, parameters, reports, dashboards, and platform configurations.
• Monitor platform performance, capacity utilization, and overall environment health.
• Troubleshoot Power BI service disruptions, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate with support and technology teams to resolve critical incidents and platform issues.
• Support application deployments and assess production readiness of Power BI solutions.
• Manage code migration and deployment across Development, Test, Staging, and Production environments.
• Utilize automation and deployment tools such as Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Lead or support Power BI platform upgrades, cloud migrations, performance tuning, and other technical initiatives.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and provide support for critical issues.
