Job summary

Asticom in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in maintaining and optimizing essential business systems. You will lead incident resolutions, guide team members, and ensure continuous reliability through proactive monitoring and stakeholder coordination.

You will drive cross-team investigations, mentor engineers, and implement best practices and automation to improve system stability, capacity planning, and recovery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM AS/400 Administration.
• Strong knowledge of AS/400 system architecture and performance optimization.
• Experience leading incidents, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in backup/recovery procedures and operational scripting/automation.
