Job summary

Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation seeks a skilled IT professional to join its Development/IT Operations team. You will manage critical production issues, coordinate incident response, and ensure secure, scalable operations across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid platforms.

The role requires strong mainframe skills (COBOL/JCL/DB2) and hands‑on experience with Unix/Linux/Windows, SQL/PLSQL, and modern monitoring tools. A 4+ year track record and a bachelor's degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Mainframe troubleshooting and support skills (COBOL, JCL, DB2, DB2 Stored Procedures, CICS, SPUFI, File aid)
• Hands on experience in Mainframe, Unix, Linux, Windows, SQL/PLSQL
• Familiarity with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, Snowflake)
• Monitoring and data tools experience (Splunk, DynaTrace, Thousand Eyes, Grafana, Selenium, HiPam, IBM Zolda)
• Data streaming (Distributed MQs, Kafka)
• Cloud technologies (AWS services, Azure, OpenShift, RDS Aurora, Postgres)
• Scheduling tool experience (CA AutoSys, Control-M)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience with ITIL Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
• Lead the resolution of production issues by coordinating Major Incident calls and root cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Review designs for operational gaps and recommend improvements for performance and resiliency.
• Hands‑on monitoring across distributed, cloud, and mainframe environments.
• Participate in Monthly Service Reviews with partners to review KPIs and service performance.
• Execute Disaster Recovery and Loss‑of‑Region procedures with proper BCM evidence.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and escalate when needed.
• Support audit requests with accurate documentation and evidence.
• Plan and execute certificate creation/renewals for secure operations.
• Create and monitor dashboards to improve observability and issue detection.
• Translate project requirements into technical specs and maintain lifecycle knowledge.
