Job summary

Trends Group, Inc. is seeking an Apigee Edge Engineer to develop, maintain, and support the Apigee Edge cloud platform. You will work with engineering, support, and cloud teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance, handling incidents and platform improvements.

The ideal candidate has strong Apigee, API management, JavaScript/Node.js, and CI/CD experience in cloud environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and global support is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE required.
• Strong experience with Apigee Edge and API gateway management.
• Proficient in JavaScript/Node.js and RESTful API design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and engineer the Apigee Edge platform.
• Patch, fix, enhance, and add features as needed.
• Triage, prioritize, investigate, and resolve bugs and requests.
• Troubleshoot Apigee services with Google Global Support and teams.
• Answer technical queries from internal engineering and support.
• Reduce technical debt; improve stability, maintainability, performance.
• Provide ongoing software engineering support for Apigee Edge.
• Monitor health, performance, availability, capacity.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and degradation.
• Provide L2 engineering support for Apigee Edge data/components.
