Job summary

Gratitude Philippines is seeking an Apigee Developer in the Philippines to design, develop, maintain, and support API solutions using Google Cloud Apigee. The role requires hands-on experience with Apigee Edge, API gateway management, RESTful APIs, Node.js, and CI/CD, across cloud platforms.

Work location is daily onsite in BGC, Taguig City, with shifting schedule. You will troubleshoot, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, security,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of professional IT experience with Apigee.
Strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and API Gateway management.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design.
Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
Understanding of API security protocols and access-control mechanisms.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience in API development, integration, troubleshooting, and support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Apigee Edge Development & Support: Design, develop, maintain, and enhance API solutions and proxies; patch and fix features; troubleshoot issues.
Platform Operations & Maintenance: Operate and maintain platform data components; support Cassandra, Zookeeper, Consul, PostgreSQL; upgrades and stability.
Cloud & Release Management: Manage cloud product releases; deploy platform updates; support Monetization and Edge Microgateway/Extensions.
Apigee OPDK Support: Provide support and maintenance for OPDK; resolve customer issues; build tools; PostgreSQL tuning.
