Job summary

Avaloq Philippines Inc. is seeking a seasoned APAC Compute Windows Manager to lead the Windows team across APAC, aligning with global strategy and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure. You will drive automation, cloud initiatives, and incident management in a regional context.

The role demands strong leadership, deep Windows Server expertise, and experience guiding distributed teams, with a hybrid work model and collaboration with global partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server architecture, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Strong expertise in hybrid and cloud compute environments (Azure, AWS, Google).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Proficiency in automation and DevOps tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the APAC Compute Windows team (Windows system engineers and infrastructure specialists).
• Ensure regional operations align with global Compute Services strategy and standards.
• Act as primary escalation point for critical Windows infrastructure incidents in APAC.
• Manage resource planning, workload distribution, and regional capacity forecasting.
• Drive performance management, professional development, and succession planning.
• Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture across distributed teams.
• Oversee design, deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Windows Server platforms (on-prem and cloud) across APAC.
• Ensure security, availability, patching, performance, and operational resilience.
• Own regional backup, recovery, and DR strategies aligned with global policies.
• Maintain AD services, Group Policy, identity integration, and domain security standards.
• Lead cloud-based workloads in Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud within APAC.
• Drive cloud migration and modernization with global architecture teams.
• Promote cost management, rightsizing, and performance efficiency.
