Job summary

Western Union is seeking an experienced Head of Talent Acquisition APAC to lead high-volume recruitment across the APAC region. You will manage a team of 5-7 Talent Partners, drive hiring performance, and implement scalable TA strategies to support rapid growth.

The role focuses on workforce planning, data-driven delivery, and partnering with senior leaders to ensure excellent candidate and stakeholder experiences while meeting targets and SLAs across multiple markets in APAC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in talent acquisition, incl. high-volume programs.
• 5+ years of people leadership, managing recruiters.
• Proven experience leading teams of 7–10 recruiters.
• Data-driven with strong analytics and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Knowledge of APAC employment practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop team of Talent Partners.
• Own recruitment delivery across APAC and meet targets.
• Develop and execute large-scale recruitment strategies.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate business priorities.
• Drive market expansions and workforce ramp-ups.
• Establish metrics and use analytics for improvements.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment including sourcing to onboarding.
• Build strong pipelines for critical roles.
• Leverage branding and sourcing to attract top talent.
• Ensure compliance with local employment law.
