Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Specialist, Source-to-Contract for APAC to support Global Services, OneProcurement and business strategy. You will manage sourcing events, contract drafting and negotiations, ensuring compliance and stakeholder alignment across regions.

Role requires 2–4 years in procurement or sourcing, fluency in Japanese and English, and openness to travel up to 5%. The position emphasizes automation, AI initiatives, and mentorship within a Source-to-Contract team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required.
• An MBA or further advanced degree is preferred.
• 2–4 years of Procurement, sourcing contracting or other relevant business experience.
• Fluency in Japanese & English is required and capable to support communicating with stakeholders and suppliers and contracting reviewing.

Responsibilities

• Conducts the day-to-day operations of the Source-to-Contract function, including sourcing event management, price and other contract terms negotiation, contract drafting and execution, and stakeholder management activities. Delivers against defined Service Levels.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and company policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organization’s profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence and risk assessments.
• Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility.
• Support development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned area of responsibility; act as product owner for S2C tools and AI features; gather requirements, prioritize, test, and roll out enhancements.
• Builds relationships with internal customers and external suppliers, works to understand their business objectives, and provides support in addressing their needs.
• Mentors and collaborates amongst a team of Source-to-Contract specialists.
