Job summary

IB Vogt Philippines Inc. is seeking a Civil/Water Resources engineer to lead hydrology, drainage and flood-risk analyses for APAC projects. You will assess rainfall-runoff, design flood levels, drainage strategies and erosion control, ensuring compliance with authorities.

You will coordinate with GIS, civil, environmental and construction teams, review external consultants' work and prepare model reports and design recommendations in business English. Travel within APAC may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Registered, licensed or eligible for the appropriate engineering registration.
Typically three to six years of post-graduate experience in hydrology, hydraulic engineering or water resources.
Experience across APAC jurisdictions and ability to adapt engineering principles across climates and regulatory environments.
Strong rainfall-runoff and floodplain understanding and capability to produce design-basis documents in English.

Responsibilities

Lead or review catchment delineation and rainfall analysis for project sites.
Develop and review drainage, detention/retention, scour protection and safe overland-flow routes.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external hydrology/hydraulic consultants.
Prepare site water balances and water-management inputs for operations and construction.
Support authority submissions, lender reviews, and project close-out.
