Job summary

Project Management Institute in the Philippines is seeking a Community Development Specialist to help plan, coordinate, and deliver priority community initiatives across the Asia Pacific region, focusing on student and CIP-aligned activities while building deeper program ownership over time.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for building meaningful connections across chapters and global owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in community management, engagement, development, or a related role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management and organizational tools is a plus.
• Experience supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives with competing timelines and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of priority community initiatives across the APAC region.
• Coordinate with chapters through established engagement structures.
• Serve as liaison for emerging volunteer and CIP aligned initiatives with chapters and global owners.
• Identify delivery gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities; suggest actions to regional leadership.
• Progressively take on greater ownership of defined programs or initiatives.
