Job summary

Brainbox is hiring an AP/AR Officer to manage the Vendor Paid Advertising finalisation for properties moving to settlement. You will reconcile costs between the client CRM and accounting system, process invoices, monitor vendor accounts, and liaise with sales representatives on outstanding payments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, at least 2 years in a finance-related role (Australian experience preferred), and proficiency in accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a finance-related role, ideally with Australian company.
• Proficient in accounting software and AP/AR processes.
• Strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process invoices promptly.
• Monitor vendor accounts and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain AP/AR documentation and assist month-end closing.
• Prepare and process payments (checks, transfers, online).
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on payments.
• Allocate payments to client accounts.
• Generate AP/AR reports for management.
• Support audit with proper documentation.
• Oversee VPA finalisation checks when property moves to settlement.
