Job summary

Brainbox, a Philippines-based BPO, is seeking an AP/AR Officer to manage the Vendor Paid Advertising finalisation for properties moving to settlement and to reconcile costs between the client CRM and the accounting system.

You will handle invoices, payments, reconciliations, month-end close, and audit-ready records, while liaising with sales reps on outstanding costs. On-site role at our Pampanga office, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance related role in Australian based company is highly preferred
• Proficiency in any accounting software is preferred
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, principles, and accounting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process invoices in a timely manner.
• Monitor and manage vendor accounts to ensure payments are made on time.
• Perform regular reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation for AP transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and online payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process incoming payments, ensuring proper allocation to client accounts.
• Prepare and update financial reports related to AP/AR for management.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Manage VPA finalisation checks when a property goes under offer.
