Job summary

GHD is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the IS Data & Analytics team in the Philippines. The role focuses on data transformation, modelling, data quality, and stakeholder enablement, leveraging Microsoft Fabric and dbt.

Responsibilities include designing data models, writing data quality tests, and enabling business insights through Power BI. Collaboration with data scientists and analysts is essential, with a hybrid work model and on-site opportunities in multiple PH offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI/data warehouse work; delivered at least two full-cycle data analytics projects.
• Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of data modelling (star schemas, fact and dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions).
• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric across medallion architecture (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflow Gen2, notebooks) or similar tools (Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake) with dbt.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data models and Power BI semantic models across layers in Microsoft Fabric using SQL (dbt) and notebooks.
• Write tests to check data quality and integrity, and fix data problems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and business analysts to translate data into insights.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Optimize performance to support scalable, reliable data pipelines.
